Heated swimming pool & spa

The indoor heated swimming pool is a great place to relax and have fun with the whole family, or pamper yourself and unwind in the spa pool. It’s available for use for everyone at Woodovis: camping, holiday homes, self-catering or touring, you’re all welcome. And it’s completely free.

Children’s play area

Relax while your little’uns go wild in our safe wood-chipped play area. There’s a climbing frame, play house, slide, baby swings and even a friendly old tractor that the grown-ups seem to love as much as the children.

Dog exercise area

Our beautiful wooded walk made up of almost 300 young trees, is a lovely place to take a stroll to lead your dog to our lower meadow where they are safe to allow off the lead and run free as nature intended. A great spot to view buzzards and often ducks, geese and sheep in the lower field.

Campers Kitchen

A handy hub for our campers. fully kitted out  with useful utensils and tools plus a microwave and freezer! Plus a brand-new pizza oven. This fabulous device cooks lovely stone baked pizzas in three minutes. The pizzas can be purchased from the shop and all the tools you need to have a perfect pizza are located in the Campers Kitchen. Please do feel free to use the pizza tool and let us know what you think!

WiFi – FREE

WIFI is free to access across the park and can be connected by selecting FREE GUEST WI-FI from your connection menu. From here you will be then asked to enter the password. The Password will be provided upon check in. WIFI calling is available to set up on your phone. You can use the following links to help you set this up. Freshly baked bread

Wake up to the smell of freshly baked bread, croissants, and pain-au-chocolat. We bake everything to order so you can be sure that it’s absolutely fresh and always delicious!

Electric Bike Hire

Exercise without exhaustion, our bikes will power you up those hills allowing you to really enjoy a car-free day in glorious countryside.  We set you off with suggested ‘tea shop and pub lunch’ routes, simple to use, you’ll feel on top of the world! Shop & off-licence

Our shop stocks most things you’ll need on your holiday, from shampoo to  Woodovis Wines! Lots of local produce: free range eggs, butchers’ meat, jams and pickles, and of course, clotted cream ice-cream!

Open every morning and evening but hours vary throughout the season.

Doggie Spa

Our very own Doggie Spa for those perfect pampered pooches! Organic doggie shampoo, warm water and even a hairdryer for our furry friends! Free of charge during your stay here at Woodovis :-)

Circus Skills

Fancy learning some cool new circus tricks and using real circus equipment? Come and give it a go with our Circus Master!

Story-telling Sessions

Be whisked away into another world with the fascinating tales and stories told by Clive PiG, an International Story Teller & Children’s Author.  Adults seem to enjoy this as much as the children, and there’s no charge, all are welcome.

Archery

COMBAT ARCHERY  - When you have tried the fantastic archery that Stephen and his team provide then you must try the new Combat Archery! Archery with a twist, fun filled games such as “Team Deathmatch”, “Capture The Flag” and “Fire And Ice” Definitely not to be missed this year!

Suitable for adults and children over 9 years £15

TARGET ARCHERY - 1 hour fun lesson on the Petanque Court! Stephen and his team are qualified instructors who will teach you all you need to become a real Robin Hood! This archery activity is new to Woodovis Park. Target Archery has a fun twist on normal archery; all the danger has gone, the sharpest thing in play is your aim! It is much more fun and can played by all!

Games room

No matter where you go travelling,  ‘the games room’ always holds an importance way above its station. At Woodovis Park, the games room always turns in to a meeting point for children making new holiday friends and a battle arena as parents desperately try to beat their offspring at pool, table football, air hockey and pinball!

Pétanque court

There’s not much better than a glass of red wine and a game of boules, or Pétanque, in an evening.

Our Pétanque court is now under-cover so you can enjoy it in most weathers.

Outdoor table tennis

It should be law: a campsite must have an outdoor table tennis table. There’s more fun and laughter generated from this simple addition to our park than almost anything else. Bats are free to borrow and you can buy balls from our cute, retro vending machine.

Walks Booth

What’s better than a lovely walk!  Our lovely old telephone booth holds a selection of some of our favourite walks, with maps available for you to take pictures of.  All relatively local, both from the site and from nearby Dartmoor and the Tamar Valley.  Be sure to check them out whilst you are here.  (We do suggest a donation of £1 to the CLIC Sargent charity, purely optional of course!)

Toilet, shower & bath facilities

Including a private bathroom with baby-changing – classed as exceptional by the Tourist Board.  We tried to think of everything including free hot showers, hairdryers, environmentally friendly lotions, potions and even a Dyson hand dryer.

Laundry & ironing

No worries packing for a long holiday, we have coin-operated commercial washing machines and dryers and free use of the ironing facilities.

Physiotherm infrared therapy cabin

Health benefits include: relaxation, revitalisation, rejuvenation, detoxification, recovery and weight loss. Available for everyone at Woodovis to use – free of charge.

Dishwashing areas

Each camping field has its own dishwashing area with an abundance of hot water.

Electric hook-up

Every pitch includes a 10A electric hook-up point, which is completely free of charge. Super Pitches have a free 16A hook-up with water, grey waste and TV aerial point too.

Electric Vehicle Charging Station

Commercial EV charging station available to use for guests of Woodovis Park.

Ice block freezer

The freezer in the games room is free to use for ice blocks. Keep your cool box cool!

Chemical disposal points

It’s never the nicest of jobs, but it has to be done. So at Woodovis, we offer clean, accessible facilities for your chemical waste. These include a wash hand basin with soap and paper towels, so that you can feel fresh even after doing this chore!

Touchscreen tourist information

Our touch screen information board in the games room is packed with information from up to date weather to local attractions, beaches and places to go.

Television aerial sockets

All Super Pitches come with a television aerial socket.

Equipment

We sell a range of camping essentials in the shop, including pegs, mallets and gas canisters, so you’ll never get caught short!

No excuses now. You can send your postcards home and tell everyone about your wonderful holiday at Woodovis because there’s a post box at reception.
